Jim was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved hacking at a golf ball. He was retired from Aviall and Pratt & Whitney Dallas Aero Space.
He served in the U. S. Army from 1957 until 1966 and was stationed in Korea & Germany.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister and two brothers.
He is survived by his wife Sharon Harwell; son Jason Harwell; brothers William Harwell and his wife Sandra, Billy Harwell; sisters Mary Mays and spouse Johnny, Ann Bingham; and numerous other family members.
