John F. Hindman Sr., was born in Alabama in 1929. He was 1 of 7 children. He became a resident of Harrison, Tennesse. He was often called, "Cotton" or "Floyd" by family & friends. He married Gwendolyn Picklesimer in June of 1949. On April 28, 1950 they welcomed their 1st child, John F. Hindman Jr. and their 2nd, Susan Kaye Hindman on July 29, 1954. Floyd worked at Stainless Metal for many years. He had 5 grandchildren. Sarah K. Hindman Wilson(John Jr.) & Gwendolyn J. Pinkley, Gary D. Pinkley, Amanda R. Beeler, Jessica H. Moore(Susan). After, his death several great grandchildren were born. Floyd enjoyed family time, holidays, working outside, and doting on his grandchildren.
