Ellsworth Eskey was born Ellsworth Scofield Eskey, but changed his name to Ellsworth Everett, so that his initials would be EE. He graduated from Pitt's dental school, where he played football, along with his brother, Ward Wesley, on the 1915, 1916 National Championship teams. In 1917, they went undefeated but Ga Tech was named champion. John Heisman and Pop Warner, the coaches tried to set up a play off, since Tech had lost a game, never happened. After graduation, he was a Captain in the Army in WWI, serving in France. He practiced dentistry in Pittsburgh, PA, where he lived. More later
