Man, Woman Shot to Death
in City Home
An Albuquerque man and
his wife were found shot
to death in their North East
Albuquerque home Tuesday
afternoon by two of the
couples children who were
reportedly in the next room
when the shootings occured.
Police identified the two
victims as George and Francis
Serrin both 45 of 324 Wisconsin,
N.E.
The children, ages 16,12 and 6
are being kept in All Faiths Home.
Police said Serrin evidently
shot Frances four times then fired
a bullet into his head. A .22
caliber pistol was found at the
scene.
Corner Jerome Greenblatt
pronounced the two dead at
4 p.m. An autopsy was ordered
as well as a Herrison-Primer test
to confirm who fired the gun.
Neighbors told police the family
had lived at the Wisconsin N.E.
residence for 2 months. Police
said that apparently neither of the
Serrins were employed. Police
found varying spellings of the
family name including Serrirn
and Serrun
