Mr. Sheffler was born in Waynesboro, December, 18, 1906, son of the late Daniel R. and Annie M. Stoner Sheffler. All of his life was lived in the Waynesboro area.
He and Mr. Sheffler were married in Feb. 1927, and made their home on North Potomac Street for the last three years.
In addition to his widow, Mrs. Hazel Watt Sheffler, he is survived by two sons, Ralph F. Sheffler Jr., Mont Alto, and Sgt. Herbert D. Sheffler, Loring Air Base, Maine. Also surviving are five grandchildren and these brothers and sisters Merle Sheffler, Guy Sheffler and Mrs.Kathryn Wishard, all of Waynesboro; and Mrs. Edna Stevens of Chambersburg.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 4 p.m. at the Grove Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. B. Frank Wagaman and the Rev. Carol Churchey. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery.
