Jerry D. Franklin, age 34, passed away at the Wallace Thomson Hospital at 11:15 Thursday after an illness of one week.

Mr. Franklin was employed by the Union-Buffalo Mill Company in the Slasher department. He attended Green Street Methodist Church. He was a veteran of World War II.

Surviving is a sister; Miss Thelman Franklin; brothers France, Robert, and Manson.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 5 from the Chapel of The Edgar Brown Bailey Funeral Home. Interment, following in the Rosemont Cemetery.
