Mrs. Quincy Franklin, age 71, passed away at her home 306 West Main Street, Monday night at 8 p.m., after a 1 year's illness.
Mrs. Franklin was born in Haywood County, N.C., but for the past 17 years has resided in Union.
The funeral services will be conducted at the home Wednesday afternoon at 4:30 p.m. with Rev. S.E. White officiating and the interment following in Rosemont Cemetery.
