Mrs. Ray A. (Mary E.) Adams, 74, of 63 E. North St., died early Sunday morning in Carlisle Hospital where she had been a patient since Dec. 19.
She was born May 9, 1899, at Mount Rock and was a daughter of the late Frederick and Sarah Kitzmiller Goodhart. She resided most of her life in Carlisle.
Mrs. Adams was associated with her husband, Ray A. Adams, who died in 1970, in the real estate and insurance business in Carlisle for many years.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Golden Age Club, Carlisle.
Surviving are a brother, Edgar Goodhart, Manassas, Va.; a step-brother Wayne Myers, Lemoyne; and a step-sister, Mrs. Helen Adams, a guest at the Church of God Home, Carlisle.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., with the Rev. Thomas R. Springman, her pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Cemetery. There will be no viewing.
