Eulogy for my brother:

Dear Sweet Kevin,

Your struggle on this earthly plane is over …You are now free.

God knows the deepest recesses of our hearts and souls and welcomed you with open arms. You are now on a heavenly journey that our minds cannot even begin to comprehend.

The Fruits of the Spirit were manifest in your life. We were proud to know you as a sincere and genuine man.

You worked extremely hard and with integrity. We looked on with amazement and quiet concern as you gave of yourself completely, selflessly and without complaint.
You asked for nothing in return.

Your life was so very precious to us.
Your beautiful brown eyes revealed the kindness and charm in your soul.
You have left us with a treasure trove of memories that will always bring a smile to our face.

You were so down to earth, full of smiles, grins and humor. You graced our lives with your laughter, love and sincerity. Blessed are the pure of heart for they shall see God.

We release these ashes, symbols of your body and mind so loved by us into the Gulf Stream waters. May they brush alongside dolphins as they journey towards a living reef.

In so doing, we release you from your loving duty as a Father, Husband and provider, Son, Brother, Nephew, Grandfather, Uncle and Friend.

We pray that our hearts carry strength, love and the knowledge that we loved you well and you loved us too.
Born at Lake Charles Air Force Base Hospital.
