She was born Jan. 29, 1898, in Phillipsport to Harvey and Ella Smith Day. She was married April 5, 1920 in Middletown to William W. Worden. He died Oct. 20, 1954.
A resident of Middletown most of her life, she was a member of Queen Esther Chapter, 163 Order of Eastern Star and of the auxiliary of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Engineers.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Robert A. Mansfield of Middletown; two grandchildren, Darla and Karen Mansfield; a sister, Mrs. Elwood Worden of Middletown; nieces and nephews.
The Rev. Ralph E. Lamar, pastor of the First Presybterian Church, will conduct services. Burial will be in Poplar Grove Cemetery, Phillipsport.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Fund or the Heart Fund.
