DELMER ADAMS

Funeral services for Delmer Adams, 62, Theodosia, were held at 10 a.m. today, Wednesday, March 11, 1992, at the Longrun Pentecostal Church.

Mr. Adams died Saturday, March 7, at Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains.

A life-long resident of Theodosia, Adams was born in Taney County, on July 31, 1929, the son of John Edwin and Bertha Jane (Simpson) Adams.

He married Nadene Miller on December 16, 1948, in Mountain Home, Ark., and worked as a farmer.

He is surviverd by his wife, six sons, Basil Miller, of Ava, Boyd, Alvin, Ivan, Leon, and Glen Adams of Winfield, Kans.; five daughters, May Gleaves , of Marionville, Edith Carr, of Springfield, Eva Cole of Theodosia, Vickie Cole, Theodosia, and Dedie Perryman, of Springfield; two sister, Thelma Walker, of Chadwick and Velma Spencer, of Oxford, Calif.; 36 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Mr. Adams was preceded in death by his parents.

Burial was in the Welch Cemetery under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home.

Pall bearers were Basil Miller, Boyd Adams, Alvin Adams, Ivan Adams, Leon Adams, and Glen Adams.
