Herbert Wolfe, 88, of Cumberland, Md., died Friday (25 April 1980) in Frostburg
Community Hospital. Born in Moorefield, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs.
George Wolfe. His wife, Mrs. Cora (Baldwin) Earle Wolfe, preceded him in death.
Wolfe was a former coal miner. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ruby Riggleman,
Cumberland; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Regina Branson and Mrs. Effie Fitzwater,
both of Moorefield; Mrs. Virginia Leonard, Los Angeles, CA.; 21 grandchildren
and a number of great-grandchildren. Services were conducted Monday in the Boal
Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Wiley officiating. Interment was in Olivet
Cemetery, Moorefield.
