Retired after 35 years as an educator/Principal with the St. Paul School Dist. married to Marie Lackner for 56 years. He had four children Mary Jo, Stephen, Donald and David. HE was also blessed with 6 grandchildren. Mr. Lackner was the principal of my grade school, I was sent to his office lots of times he always had a candy bar waiting for me. Later I found out we were related when he was leaving our school and decided to tell me why he always gave me candy and why I never got in trouble for the stunts I pulled.
