ANNA PETERSEN DIES HERE AT 83
Anna Pauline Petersen, a resident of Carlton since 1905, passed away here Wednesday, October 25, at the age of 83 years, 7 months and 19 days. Mrs. Petersen came to the United States from her birthplace in Denmark in 1887, to Iowa. In 1891, she was married to John J. Petersen who preceded her in death in 1947.
Survivors are three sons, John, Carl and Alfred, all of Carlton; daughters, Mrs. Margaret Elmund, Salem, Miss Nina Petersen and Mrs. Minnie Bloom, both of Carlton, and Mrs. Rose Marsh, McMinnville; a sister, Mrs. Marie Jensen, Emmetsburg, Iowa, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Final rites will be conducted at the chapel of Macy and Son Friday afternoon at 3:30, followed by interment in Evergreen Memorial park.
