Mrs. J.K. Perkins of DeQuincy, proprietor of a boarding house near the Kansas City station, died at her home yesterday as the result of injuries received November 9th, when she was struck by a moving freight train, lacerating and mashing the muscles from around the bone on the left ankle and instep causing death by blood poisoning.

Survived by her husband and 10 children, 5 sons and 5 daughters. Two sisters, Mrs. T.A. Newell and Mrs. Adolphine Jones, both of Westlake. Three brothers, Hilaire Escoubas of Westlake, Thomas Escoubas of Houston River and Edward Escoubas of Lake Charles.

Mrs. Perkins was born on Houston River, near DeQuincy, 64 years ago.
