Belle L. (McCabe) Royal, 75, of Rt. 6, near Crane Station, died unexpectedly at her home Saturday, April 27, 1968, of a heart attack. She was born and had lived her entire life in the same house. She was employed at Purdue University in the commissary at Cary Hall for 20 years, retiring in 1958. She was a member of Dayton Methodist Church.
Surviving are one son, Charles D. Royal of Lafayette; two daughters, Mrs. A.P. Alexander of Tustin, CA, and Mrs. Fred E. Smith of Anderson; four granddaughters and one great-grandson. Service April 30 at Hippensteel Funeral Home, the Rev. L. Kenneth Kraft officiating; burial at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
