Florence Wiesjahn
Hobart - Florence A. Wiesjahn of Hobart, formerly of Wanatah, died Saturday in Miller Merry Manor Home.
She was born in Valparaiso, the daughter of Earl and Augusta (Weinkauff) Dowdell. On June 29, 1923 she married Dr. Alvin E. Wiesjahn, who died in 1975.
She was a retired dental assistant for her husband in Hobart and a member of First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a sister, Ethel Casbon of Valparaiso.
Services 11 a.m. Thursday at Wiesjahn Funeral Home, Wanatah; the Rev. John Weeks officiating; burial in Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso; visitation 1 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday morning until services.
