HOBART -- Private services were held today for Dr. Alvin E. Wiesjahn, 225 W. Third, a Hobart dentist for 49 years prior to retirement who died Tuesday. Burial was in Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso.
He is survived by his widow, the former Florence Dowdell. They were married in Valparaiso in 1923.
He was born in Wanatah, the son of John and Bertha (Wojahn) Wiesjahn.
