CHESAPEAKE - Mrs. Elsie Mae Francis, 62, of 2047 Windy Road, the wife of Charles A. Francis and a native of Norfolk, died Monday in a Virginia Beach hospital.

She lived in this area all of her life and was a member of St. Peters Episcopal Church.

Other survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Ann C. Holmes and Mrs. Brenda M. Batten of Chesapeake, and Mrs. Josephine L. Wilson of Pensacola, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Mary B. Summers of Norfolk and Miss Alys K. Guy of Chesapeake; a brother, Frank W. Guy of Chesapeake; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk, but the Rev. Ralph Webb. Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, had charge.
