Mrs. Margaret E. Allen, wife of Wm. H. Allen, died at her home in Darwin Thursday of last week, aged 42 years. The funeral was held from the Sharon Baptist church Saturday afternoon, under the auspices of the Daughters of Rebekah. Rev. T. C. Smith conducted the services in the presence of over 500 people. Mrs. Allen was greatly beloved for her many noble traits of character. She was the mother of eleven children, seven of whom survive with their father. She also leaves five brothers and two sisters.
