Margaret Christ was taken from us at the young age of 90, on Sunday the 20th of May 2012. She was loved by all who met her. Margaret was a wonderful mother who loved her children selflessly. She had a passoinate love for her dogs. During her years before retirement, Margaret was a daycare teacher and worked in customer service at several retail stores.
She was married to Stephen Leo Christ for 61 wonderful years and together they shared a great life. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Stephen (Steve) Leo Christ, her parents, Otto Carl Burwitz and Ruby Pearl Miller Burwitz, and her sister Thelma Burwitz Currier.
She is survived by her four children, Joyce Marie Christ Grady, Gene Leo Christ and his wife Glenda, James Rodger Christ, and Rhonda Lynn Christ LeLaurin and her husband Matt.
Margaret has 12 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. The family would like give special thanks to Memorial Herman Hospice and Margarets home caregivers Jane and Mary Anne. The viewing will be held at St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church, 10330 Hillcroft St., Houston, Texas 77096, on Friday May 25th at 7:00 pm. The funeral will be Saturday May 26th at 11:00 at St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church with interment to follow at Forest Park Lawndale.
