Hannah Elizabeth West Cornelison, daughter of Charles and Ellen West, was born August 14th, 1884, at Primgar, in O'Brien county, Iowa, and departed this life October 30, 1959, at the age of 75 years, two months and 16 days.
She joined the Christian church in her youth.
She was married August 15th, 1904 to Frank Cornelison, at Creston, Iowa.
To this union were born five children, three of who survive her. Two sons, True and a child that died in infancy preceded her in death.
She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, Frank, two sons, Lee and Wayne, and one daughter, Mrs. Eula Smith. Nine grandchildren, Shirley Smith Trenkle, Donald, Kenneth and Carroll Smith, Donna Cornelison Fuller, Terry, Carla, Nila, and Trenda Cornelison. Three great grandchildren, Donna, Daniel, and Richard Smith. Four sisters, Mrs. Ina Reish, Mrs. Ella Murray, Mrs. Angie Cochran and Mrs. Nellie Van Velson. Two Brothers, Bert and Glen West.
Six brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
She was a good and wonderful wife and mother.
Final rites were held at the Watts-Soll funeral home in Lorimor, with Rev. Walter Williams officiating, with internment in the Lorimor cemetery. Songs were sung by Mrs. Blair Cooper, with Mrs. Fern Rogers at the piano.
Casket bearers were three grandsons, Terry Cornelison, Donald and Carroll Smith and three nephews, Leonard Riesh, Earl Lucas and Ervin Cornelison
