LONACONING-- Mrs. Estella Groves, 70, wife of Andrew N. Groves, died yesterday at her home. She had been in ill health for several years.
A native of Barton, she was the daughter of Stephen and Ann Belle (Miller) Llewellyn. Mrs. Groves was a member of First Methodist Church and Pride of Lonaconing Council 96, Daughters of America.
Surviving besides her husband are one son, Clinton Groves, Falls Church Va.; four sisters, Mrs. Edward Beeman and Mrs. Duncan Haines, both of Lonaconing; Mrs. Edward Duckworth, Moscow; and Mrs. Archie Clark, Barton; three brothers, Dewey and Perry Llewellyn, both of Barton; Herbert Llewellyn, Cumberland; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The body is at the residence.
Services will be conducted at the residence Saturday at 2 p.m. by Rev. Carl Price, pastor of First Methodist Church. Interment will be in Philos Cemetery at Westernport.
