Of 922 William Penn Highway, Cresson died at 8:45 a.m. yesterday at his home. He was born in Carrolltown Feb. 28, 1892, a son of John and Mary (Illig) Ahles, and married Ella Lee.
Surviving are his wife, two sons, Harold of Weirton, W. Va., and Pollard, at home; five grandchildren, and eight brothers and sisters, Mrs. Ella Noel of Ebensburg, Lawrence, Mrs. Lorene Harlin, Mrs. Rosalin Mulhern, Mrs. Cordelia McCloskey and Mrs. Catherine Baum of Cresson, Mrs. Bertha Brawley of Canton, Ohio, and Wilford of Nazareth. He was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church and Holy Name Society. Friends are being received at the home.
