Alice O. Beck, 81, of Fraser, formerly of Gladwin, passed away Feb. 28, 2008 at the Fraser Villa Living Center.
Alice was born July 5, 1926 in Canada to Julian and Clara Tack.
She married William Beck May 17, 1947 in Detroit.
She came to Gladwin in 1974. Alice belonged to the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Fraser. Alice was instrumental in starting the Secord Eagles Club.
Surviving are her daughter, Carrie (Perry) Null of Harrison Township; sister-in-law, Mary Beck of Roseville; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, William Jr. "Skip" Beck in 1986.
Services were held March 1, 2008 at the Sisson Funeral Home. Secord Eagles Club officiated and burial was in Ridge Cemetery.
