Grand Lake- Calvin Boudreaux, 84, passed away May 21, 2012 in his residence.

He was a life member of the Cameron KC 5461. He loved shrimping, cooking and feeding all who came. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who loved spending time with family and friends. He retired from Philips Petroleum Co. and was a active member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, Cameron, LA.

He is survived by daughters, Glenda Thibeaux of Lake Charles, Phyllis Smith and husband, Patrick of Lake Arthur; sons, Clay Boudreaux and wife, Carol of Santa Clara, California, Craig Boudreaux and wife, Bobbee of Lake Charles, Carroll Boudreaux and wife, Mary of Opelousas, LA; sister, Rita Mouton of Gueydan and Betty Naquin of Desallemands, LA; brother, Raleigh Aucoin of Forked Island, LA; grandchildren, Erick Thibeaux, Chelsea Boudreaux, Cody Boudreaux, Megan Boudreaux, Chase Boudreaux, Cory Boudreaux, Cameron Thomas, Matti Smith, Houston Smith; great granddaughter, Jaelyn Thibeaux; special friend, Jackie Trouard of Lake Charles; step-grandchildren, Sophia Thibodeaux, Andrew Thibodeaux and Grayson Bourgeois.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Boudreaux; parents, Lawrence and Emily Boudreaux; brothers, Carbert Boudreaux, Coleman Boudreaux, Gus Boudreaux; sisters, Elda Landry, Magnolia Feske, Margie Dyson, Lilly Queen; granddaughter, Jaime Boudreaux.

His funeral will be 2:30pm, Friday, May 25, 2012 at St. Martin DePorres Catholic Church. The Rev. Keith Pellerin will officiate. Visitation will begin Thursday 4pm-9pm at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles with a Cursillo rosary at 6pm and resume 8am until service time. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery.
