Amanda is the daughter of Martin Brown and Dicy Jane Smith Bryant. She was born in Gibson County, TN, and to my knowledge, she had 4 sisters and 4 brothers. However, several of them died as babies. On 6 Jan 1859, she married John Boyd Belew in Gibson County, TN. They had two children to my knowledge. They are:
Sarah Boyd Belew 1859 – 1898
Levi Johnson Belew 1861 – 1927
Amanda died 21 Jul 1862 at only 20 years old. She was my 1st cousin, 4X removed.
