Marian J. Miller, 90, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 4:30 AM at the West Point Care Center.

She was born on May 31, 1921 in Harper, IA to Bernard and Caroline Conrad Pauly. On May 7, 1938 Marian married Delmer Miller in Washington, IA and he passed away on May 14, 1978. Marian was a member of Sacred Heart Church where she sang in the choir, the Altar and Rosary Society, Pen City Singers, Senior Silver Steppers, RSVP, Ft. Madison Senior Citizens, she also volunteered for many organizations. She was also an avid seamstress.

Survivors include two sons, Robert (Kathy) Miller of Kewanee, IL and Jerry (Anita) Miller of Seymour, TN; four daughters, JoAnn (Wayne) Henning of Broomfield, CO, Susanne (Ron) Menke of Ft. Madison, Marianne (Gary) Featheringill of Ft. Madison and Rosanne (Richard) Beelman of Ft. Madison; thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.


She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five sisters and two brothers.
Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for the Alzheimer's Association or Lee Co. Hospice.
