MRS. MARY S. MOHR

Mrs. Mary Severin Mohr, 76, resident of Davenport 62 years, died at 11:55 a.m. Sunday in the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. George LaFrenz, 1518 West Ninth street, following an illness of five weeks.

She was born March 15, 1865, in Schlewswig-Holstein, Germany, educated in schools there and in 1879 she came to the United States, direct to Davenport, where she was married to Henry Mohr Jan. 9, 1884. He died May 26, 1916.

Mrs. Mohr was a member of the Northwest Davenport Turner society and of the Liedertaufel of the society.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Frank Widigen, Mrs. George LaFrenz and Miss Anna Mohr, all of Davenport, and Mrs. Louis Moeller, Boothwyn, Pa.; two sons, John, of Davenport, and Albert, Chicago, 18 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Two daughters preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Runge chapel. Burial will be in Fairmount cemetery.
