Mrs. Sara [sic] J. Abrahims, widow of the late George Abrahims, died last Tuesday evening at 10:30 o'clock at her home on Big Spring avenue. Mrs. Abahims before her marriage was Miss Miller of Somerset county, Penna.
She had been in failing health for several months but seriously ill for only a few weeks.
Mrs. David Plough at home, Ms. George Derr, Carlisle, and Samuel Abrahims of Altoona are the survivors of Mrs. Abrahims along with two sisters, Mrs. Stufft of Somerset county, Mrs. Singer of Merheantville, N.J., and one brother Wm.Reep of Newville.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the home at 2:30. Burial was in the Old Graveyard at Carlisle. Rev. Frank T. Wheeler, pastor of the Big Spring Presbyterian church officiated, assisted by the Rev. Elwood S. Falkenstein, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran church.
