Mrs. Faye M. Jones, 94, a resident of Eldorado Care Center, died at 2:10 a.m. Wednesday, March 17, 1999 in Ferrell Hospital at Eldorado. She was the widow of Harry Jones.

She was born on July 3, 1904, in Ridgway to the late Tom and Floy (Mattingly) Mayhue.She attended the Zion Baptist Church.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Georgia Thomas; a daughter, Louise Ashley; and a sister, Lorene Morris of Eldorado, 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Evelyn Mitchell in June, 1998, a great-grandson, two brothers, and five sisters.

Graveside services will precede burial at 2 p.m. Friday at Wolf Creek Cemetery in Eldorado. The Rev. Brad Brault will officiate.

Visitation will be from noon until 1:45 p.m. Friday at Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado.
