William Kemp Passes Away in VA Hospital
William Bud Kemp, 71 of 307 South Wilcox Street, died Wednesday in the VA Hospital here. Funeral services were 3:30 p. m. Thursday in Crouch-Moore Chapel, Rev. Malcolm Cave officiating with burial in Wilson Chapel Cemetery.
He was born May 16, 1892 in Texas, the son of J. D. and Amanda Lowe Kemp. He was a painter by trade and a veteran of World War I.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Vida Mae Kemp, McKinney; two daughters, Mrs. Melba Jean Rivers, City; Mrs. Nelma Wall, Garland; brother, Lawrence Kemp, McKinney; three sisters, Mrs. Turchase Kuykendall, Dallas; Mrs. Ollie Mae Kuykendall, Caddo Mills; Mrs. Julia Ann Griffith, Dallas and several grandchildren.
