Savilla Mahoney, 96, of Belleville died June 29 in the Lincoln Park Subacute Rehabilitation Center.


Services were held Saturday in the Zarro Funeral Home, Bloomfield.


Mrs. Mahoney was a nurse's aide at the Essex County Geriatrics Center, Belleville, for 22 years before retiring many years ago. Born in Rockaway, she lived in Newark before moving to Belleville 59 years ago.


Surviving are a son, Jeremiah; seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
