A memorial Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Granville. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Granville.
Dysart-Cofoid Funeral Chapel, Granville, is assisting the family.
Ann was born May 5, 1911, in Mark to Stefano and Teresa (Lenzi) Mareta. She graduated from Hopkins [Township] High School, Granville in 1929 and married Wesley Acuncius on June 16, 1933, in Mark.
Ann worked at a raincoat factory and then became a bookkeeper for the Mark coal mine.
She was extremely involved in the community and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Granville and Holy Cross Catholic Church in Moorpark, Calif.
The activities Ann loved were baking, candy making and crafts for her family, friends and community.
Surviving are her sons, Dennis Acuncius of Las Vegas, Nev., and Roger Acuncius of Spokane, Wash.; her daughter, Lori Acuncius of Moorpark, with whom Ann has lived since 2003; her grandchildren, Jerry Acuncius, Andrew Acuncius, Robyn Smith, Philip Acuncius and Warren Acuncius; and five great-grandchildren.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband in 2002; three sisters, Mary, Iva and Della; and two brothers, Joseph and Peter.
Memorials may be directed to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
