SOUTH BEND — Ruby A. Robbins, 81, of Sunland, Calif., formerly of South Bend, died at 11:51, Tuesday at Sunland Nursing Home. Mrs. Robbins was born Aug. 22, in Peru, Ind, and lived In South Bend until moving to Sunland year ago. On Aug. 25, 1926, in South Bend, as Ruby Brown, she married Rolley -Robbins. He died July 7, 1974. She is survived by a son; Leonard L. of South Bend; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Lucille Hight of Benton, Ariz; and a brother, Harold Brown of Sunland.
Graveside services and burial will be at 1 p.m. Monday at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Hollis-Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made, to the American Heart Fund.
