Mr. Lopez was born June 18, 1948, in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, to the late Sergio and Ana (Ortiz) Lopez and came to this area from Long Island. He served our country in the U.S. Marine Corps and was of the Catholic Faith.
Survivors include his four sisters, Dahlia Alvarez of South Florida, Mirta Cepeda of Port St. Lucie, Adriana Berrios of Margate and Rachael Becker of Inverness; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are Friday, May 18, at 3 p.m. at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Fr. Charles Leke of Our Lady of Fatima Parish officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 1 p.m. until the hour of service.
