Memorial service to be Thursday in Bloomsburg
Madeline R. Harner, 78, of 270 E. Seventh St., Bloomsburg, died Sunday, May 18, 2003, at the Orangeville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, where she had lived since September 2000.
Born May 2, 1925, in Greenwood Township, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Ruth Kline Utt.
Mrs. Harner was a 1943 graduate of Millville High School. She was a member of the Bloomsburg Church of the Nazarene. Her husband, Walter L. Harner, died Dec. 30, 1994, and a brother, Max Utt, died in 2002.
Mrs. Harner is survived by three daughters: Ruthann Krum, York; Mrs. Walter (Mary) Clark, Bloomsburg; and Mrs. Craig (Sherry) Unger, Cross Forks; two sons: Randy Harner, Bloomsburg; and Stephen Harner, Berwick; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Jane Matash, Berwick; and two brothers: Hold Utt, Millville; and David Utt, Bloomsburg.
Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Allen Funeral Home, Market and Eighth streets, Bloomsburg, with burial in Ikeler Cemetery, Mount Pleasant Township.
