Died 1:30 AM, Wednesday in Medical Center Hospital after an illness of several years. Service 2PM Friday at the Ware Funeral Home with the Rev. Raymond Stockman of Wellston officiating. Burial Grenlawn Cemetery with military graveside service by Veterans of Foreign Wars Port 108 of which he was a member. Suvivors: his wife, the former Goldie Madden, whom he married April 18, 1936; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Richard (Helen) Shoemaker, Route 7; two stepgrandsons; three stepgreat-grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Emma Price, Lexington, Mrs. William (Bertha) Baine, 861 Washington Ave., Mrs. Fullen (Ruby) Looney, 644 Orange St., Mrs. George (Zelma) Pennington, Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs. Robert (Hazel) Jornigan, Cumberland, Md., and two brothers, James and Clarence of Akron. He was the son of John Wesley and Minnie A. Pool Ellison.
