BELOVED TEACHER DIES AT THYATIRA
Mrs. W T Aiken died at her home at Thyatira Saturday. The remains were interred at Thyatira Cemetery. She was a strong Christian character, beloved by all who knew her.
Mrs. Aiken was sick only a short time. At the time of her death she was a member of the faculty of the Thyatira consolidated School. For several years she has been identified with the school interest of the county.
She is survived by her husband, W T Aiken, and three brothers, Prof Joe Moore of Thyatira; Edward Moore of Pleasant Grove and Will Moore, of Meridian. Mrs. Aiken was a life-long member of the Christian Church at Thyatira. Funeral services were conducted by the Pastor, Brother Gardner.
