"HARTFORD CITY - Donald Wayne Maddox, former Hartford City resident died at his residence in Endicott, NY on 22 Jul 2006 of complications. Donald was born 12 Nov 1939 to Mary Forest (McCombs) and William Wilson Maddox Sr. Both parents preceded him in death, his father 15 Oct 2000 and his mother 29 Mar 2002. He graduated from Hartford City High School in 1957. He married Marlene Jean (LaRosa)Maddox in Aug 2004 in New York. She survives. He served in the National Guard. He retired from the Maddox Family Farming Operation in Blacford Co. IN.
Survivors are his wife, Marlene Maddox; son Dewayne Maddox, Hartford City; 4 daughters, Debra L. (husband David) Wilson, Hartford City, Donna S. Maddox, Hartford City; Doris Jean (husband, Gaylord)Barr, Hartford City, Diane Kay (husband Jeff) Peden, Hatford City, 15 grandchildre4n; 7 step grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 10 step great grandchildren.
Funeral was in Hartford City, with burial at the Hartford City Cemetery.
