Robert Edward Gildersleeve was her 2nd husband and he has two headstones in two different cemeteries. One headstone is with his first wife, where it is assumed he is actually buried, and the the second headstone is with Dolores in Rosewood Park Cemetery.

DOLORES HART
GILDERSLEEVE

Dolores Hart Gildersleeve, born Nov. 18, 1923 in Sayre, Oklahoma, to Eugene and Wilma Aynesworth, died July 17, 1998 in Longview Regional Hospital after a lengthy illness.

She lived most of her life in the Overton area. She retired as Vice President of the First State Bank of Overton after about forty years of service.

Additionally, she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Overton, a past Worthy Matron in the Order of the Eastern Star, and a former Mother Advisor for the order of the Rainbow. She was also proud of her service as a brownie and a girl scout leader.

Her interests include her family, needlework, sewing and reading.

She is survived by her husband R.E. Gildersleeve of Longview; one sister, Mrs. R.L. Robinson of Marshall; a brother, D.W. (Speedy) Aynesworth of Longview; one daughter, Tommie Hart-Dunlap of Round Rock; four step-daughters, Patricia Gildersleeve Phillips of Dallas, Rayline Hart Binion of Hideaway Lake, Alice Hart Bockus of Colorado, and June Hart Bryant of Tyler.

Also ten grandchildren, Raymond Brunch Hart, Davian Dunlap, Melody Dunlap, Patty D'Alise, Stephen Phillips, Sid Binion, Keith Bockus, Victoria Vise, Beth Vise Page and Mark Vise.

Additionally, she is survived by three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by husband Raymond B. Hart of Overtonand her brothers, Ansley Aynesworth of Colorado and J.E. (Boots) Aynesworth of Arkansas.

Services will be held on Monday ay 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Overton and internment will follow at Rosewood Cemetery in Longview. Arrangements are made under the direction of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday.

Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or to the American Cancer Society.
