Funeral services for Fred A. Kusian, 68, will be today (Wednesday) at 1:30 p.m. at the Congregational church with Rev. Nevin Haines officiating. Interment will be made in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Fred Kusian, son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Kusian, was born on April 22, 1899 at West Lake, Iowa. Following his marriage on October 1, 1921 to Miss Emma Van Horn the family lived for a few years in the Dumont and Hansell vicinity. In 1925 they moved to Parkersburg where they have since made their home. Mr. Kusian worked most of his life as a painter. He was a member of the Parkersburg Congregational church.

Mr. Kusian had been hospitalized for about 2 weeks a little more than a month ago and passed away early Sunday morning in his home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 daughter and an infant brother.

Surviving are his wife, 4 sons, Luverne of St. Louis, Mo. Duane of Ft. Hood Texas, Donald of Belmond, Iowa and Kenneth at home; 3 daughters Jean (Mrs. Harlan Hook) of Parkersburg; Juanita (Mrs. Lester Sents) of Aplington and Betty (Mrs. Richard Rue) of Parkersburg 12 grandchildren, 2 brothers, Ernest of Richmond Calif,; and Julius of Iowa Falls; 2 sisters, Mrs. Dick Van Horn of Greene and Mrs. Minnie Rover of Charles City, Iowa.
