Ogden Jack Kenneth Moss passed away May 10, 2012. He was born March 14, 1932 in Ogden to Leona M. Shore and John W. Moss. Jack grew up in Ogden, attended Washington Elementary and Junior High School, and graduated from Ogden High School. He proudly served in the Navy in the Korean War.

He worked at Bob's Bar-B-Q, the U.S. Post Office, Marquardt, and Defense Depot Ogden. Jack enjoyed sports, especially baseball. He also liked history and had a great memory. He loved his family and his dogs, Taffy and Cindy. He was a good friend to all.

Jack is survived by his sister, Ruth Moss (Bob) Nye; 3 grandchildren, Jeff, Jason and Ashley; 4 great-grandchildren; niece, Niki (Tommy) Glasmann; nephews, Robert (Theresa) Nye, Steve (Tiffani) Nye and great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Moss.

Graveside services, officiated by Myers Ogden Mortuary, will be held at 4 p.m. on Monday, May 14, 2012 at the Ogden City Cemetery, 1875 Monroe Blvd.

A sincere thank you is extended to the staff of Heritage Park and Manor Care who lovingly cared for Jack.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice on behalf of Jack.
