Thearon Collins, age 87, of Jamestown, died Friday night, December 25, 2009 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset. He was a farmer, a retired employee of the Russell County Board of Education and a veteran of World War II.
He is survived by: Violet Shearer Collins of Jamestown.
Three sons: Phillip Collins of Jamestown, Thearon Collins, Jr. of Jamestown, and Gary Collins of Russell Springs.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at the Wilson Funeral Home with burial in the Blakey Cemetery. Friends may call for visitation after 5:00 p.m. Monday at the Wilson Funeral Home in Russell Springs. The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made in the form of memorial contributions to the Blakey Cemetery. These may be left at the funeral home.
