He leaves to mourn his departure three brothers and three sisters, Buel of Otsego, Mich, Elias D of Indianapolis, Owen of Zeno, New Mexico, Mrs John Kilmer and Mrs John Weldy of Wakarusa, Mrs Fred Saville of Detroit, Mich, also two half brothers, Elijah of Albion, Pa, and John of Erie, Pa.
His father, mother and half sister, Mrs Alpheus Lehman preceded him in death.
After the death of his mother when he was about 6 years of age he was taken into the home of Henry Eby with whom he lived till he grew to manhood. He was known by many as Alden Eby.
He was taken sick at his home in Nappanee in December and was moved to home of J H Kilmer early in February where he died on April 4, 1922, at the age of 52 yrs. 6 mos. and 14 days.
He had a cheerful disposition and bore his afflictions with patience and was highly respected by all who knew him.
