WILLIAM NYE (Jabez, Benjamin, Jonathan,
Benjamin), born August 13, 1779. He married
Lucy *Doty of Plymouth. She died June, 1844,
aged sixty-five years, and he died February
25, 1849, aged seventy years.
Their monument is in a cemetery in Plymouth.
Children:
1) Ann H., died March 13, 1834
2) Gorham H.
3) Hannah, married Benjamin Hathaway, of Plymouth.
*I have found William Wife's maiden
name to be Sylvester. There is not a
marriage in the vital records of Plymouth
between a William Nye and a Lucy Doty.
If anybody knows otherwise please send me an edit.
