Obituary of Laurita Jorgensen Baldwin
Laurita Nellie Jorgensen Baldwin, 87, died Sunday, March 23, 1998, in Laramie, Wyoming. She was born in Pinedale, Wyoming on September 11, 1909. the fifth surviving child of Nel and Karen (Lauritsen) Jorgensen.
Mrs Baldwin was married in Pinedale, Wyoming in 1935 to Allen Lee Baldwin of Laramie, Wyoming and was a resident of Laramie since that time.
She attended the University of Wyoming. For many years Laurita was active in Boy Scouting and Girl Scouting. She loved the outdoors, rasing animals and gardening.
Laurita is survived by her daughter, Mary Coleen Wagner and husband Roger of Laramie, Wyoming, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her only son Ronald, four brothers, Hans, George, James, Carl Jorgensen, two sisters, one died as a baby, and Carrie Murdock.
Services were Wednesday, March 26, 1997, at the first Christian Church in Laramie, Wyoming with Rev. Mahlon Dixon officiating.
