Charlie Harrison served as State Representative from Jeff Davis County in the Georgia General Assembly. He was a former judge of the Ordinary Court (now Probate Court) and also served on the Jeff Davis County Board of Commissioners. He retired from the Georgia State Department of Agriculture and at the time of his death served as Registrar of Jeff Davis County. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and Woodmen of the World. Charlie Harrison was an ordained Baptist minister and presided over a number of weddings and funerals in Jeff Davis and Surrounding counties
