The funeral Mass for George E. Neuber, 73, of R. 1, Chilton, who died early Saturday at the home following an illness of two months, was offered this morning at St. Mary Catholic Church, Chilton. The Rev. Francis J. Melchiors of Charlesburg was celebrant with burial in St. Elizabeth Catholic Cemetery.
Mr. Neuber who farmed in the town of Stockbridge all his adult life, was born there Dec. 11, 1900, a son of the late Oswald and Anna Marie Pung Neuber. He married Marie Krutzik of Kiel in 1925. She died in 1927.(sic).
Survivors are a son, Earl, on the home farm; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Mary Wettstein, a resident of Calumet Homestead, New Holstein.
