Alexander Denor, aged 72, died at 9:15 o'clock Tuesday night at his home, 1109 Lang avenue. He was born in Indiana county and resided in the Twenty-first ward for the past 36 years. In his early youth he learned the trade of cabinet maker and had been employed by leading people of the East End. The furniture made by him was considered equal to the best in the country, and much of it can be found in the homes of the Thaws, Fricks, Frows and Carnegies. He retired from business about five years ago. He was a member of the Homewood Episcopal Methodist church. He leaves his wife and one son, John J. Denoy. Funeral services will be held at his late residence at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon.
